
New Delhi, 08 September (Udaipur Kiran) – Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, arrived in New Delhi on Sunday for a two-day official visit. Union Minister Piyush Goyal welcomed him upon his arrival. This is the Crown Prince’s first visit to India in his new role.
A delegation of UAE ministers and business representatives also accompanied the Crown Prince on this visit. Tomorrow, the Crown Prince is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various areas of bilateral cooperation. He is also set to meet India’s President, Droupadi Murmu. Additionally, he will pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.
On Tuesday, the Crown Prince will visit Mumbai to participate in a business forum where business leaders from both nations will be present.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, India and the UAE have historically close and friendly relations. In recent years, the two countries have developed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership across multiple areas, including politics, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. The Crown Prince’s visit is expected to further strengthen India-UAE bilateral relations and open up opportunities for collaboration in new and emerging sectors.
