The next generation of iPhone, expected to be iPhone 16 series, will launch later in September this year with new features, changes and improvements. Leaks and rumors have revealed some major changes in the iPhone 16 series.
The most significant changes we are waiting for are the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These include larger displays, improved cameras and more. Here’s our guess as to how the two Pro models differ.

Screen size and dimensions
This is a little obvious. There have always been differences in screen size between the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, this time the screen size has also changed.
The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a 6.3-inch display instead of 6.1 inches. And according to rumors, the iPhone 16 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch screen, making the iPhone 16 Pro Max the largest display in iPhone history.
Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a slightly taller design with a slightly larger display. However, the overall thickness of the phone is expected to remain the same. The iPhone 16 Pro will also be lighter compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Improved camera
Apple is also expected to make certain changes to the camera settings of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Both Pro models are expected to feature an updated 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor in addition to the 48-megapixel primary sensor. Additionally, Apple is updating the telephoto lens on the iPhone 16 Pro models from 3x to 5x (same as the iPhone 16 Pro Max).
This camera setup is expected to improve low-light performance, dynamic range, and several other improvements when it comes to image quality.
battery
Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are also said to have improved battery capacity. This means that these two models may have longer battery life than the iPhone 15 Pro model. However, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to have a smaller battery than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
