Udaipur, May 13: In a recent virtual review meeting, Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani emphasized the need for a solid action plan at the beginning of the financial year to ensure timely achievement of revenue targets. The meeting included district collectors and departmental officials from all districts in the division.
During the meeting, the Commissioner highlighted that this is the initial phase of the financial year, and all departments should prepare effective work plans to ensure continuous progress in revenue collection throughout the year. She instructed officials to set departmental targets, conduct regular monitoring, and expedite pending cases.
Review of Revenue Collection by Various Departments: The meeting included a detailed review of revenue collection from departments such as Mining and Geology, Commercial Tax, and Registration and Stamps. The Commissioner directed officials to adopt innovative approaches to meet the set revenue targets and stressed the importance of transparency, timely action, and continuous monitoring in revenue collection.
Focus on Census 2027 Preparations: The meeting also reviewed activities related to the 2027 Census, including training programs and self-enumeration campaigns. The Commissioner described the Census as a crucial national program and insisted that all related tasks be completed on time. She directed that self-enumeration for all government personnel be ensured and that training programs be effectively implemented to facilitate smooth execution of the Census in the future. Any negligence in the Census work will not be tolerated, and coordination at every level is essential, along with timely arrangements for necessary technical and administrative support.
Instructions for Sheep Removal Arrangements: The Commissioner also provided directives regarding the upcoming sheep removal in various districts, emphasizing the need for proper arrangements to ensure the convenience and safety of livestock owners. She urged relevant officials to prepare in advance to prevent any disorder during the process. Senior officials, including the Chief Conservator of Forests S.R. Yadav and Additional Commissioner C.R. Devasi, were present at the meeting.
