Udaipur : A special train with 1150 Rajputs departed from Udaipur on Sunday for the Tansingh birth centenary celebrations in Delhi. The celebrations will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on January 28.
Two coaches of the train are reserved for women. These coaches are named after Rani Padmini and Hadi Rani. The train was flagged off by Maharani Nirupama Kumari.
Bhanwar Singh Bemala, the divisional president of the Rajput Yuvak Sangh in Mewar-Waghad, said that the celebrations will be attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, and leaders from all states.
