Jaipur, September 11 (Kiran News): The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Rajasthan Police, along with Pratapgarh Police, has unearthed an illegal MD drug manufacturing factory in Pipalkhoont area of Pratapgarh district. During the raid, police arrested 25,000-rupee rewardee and most-wanted smuggler Jamshed alias Jammu Lala, resident of Dewaldi, and seized a large consignment of drugs, chemicals, and equipment. The seized contraband is valued at nearly ₹50 crore in the international market.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Additional Director General of Police (Crime) Dinesh MN, DIG Deepak Bhargav, and Additional SPs Asha Ram Chaudhary and Siddhant Sharma, led by Pratapgarh SP B. Aditya.
Key Inputs Led to Raid
AGTF team members Head Constable Mahavir Singh and Constable Narendra Patidar received intelligence on Jammu Lala’s activities. After days of surveillance, it was confirmed that the accused was running a drug unit inside a hut belonging to Ishwar Meena at Tanda Bada, near the Bori Mojal border. Acting on this information, Pipalkhoont Police and the District Special Team (DST) conducted a raid and arrested the accused.
Seizures Worth ₹50 Crore
From the illegal facility, police recovered 17.4 kg of MD powder, over 70 kg of chemicals, and drug-making equipment. The accused, Jamshed alias Jammu Lala (33), son of Fakirgul Pathan, resident of Dewaldi under Arnod police station, was booked under the NDPS Act.
Previous Drug Bust in December 2024
In December 2024, AGTF and Arnod Police had earlier busted another drug unit in Dewaldi village, seizing 11.450 kg of liquid MDMA, 14.770 kg of other chemicals, 4.900 kg of additional substances, and 2.500 kg of white powder worth nearly ₹40 crore. In that case, accused Yakub, Jamshed alias Jammu Lala, and Sahil of Dewaldi had absconded, after which a reward of ₹25,000 each was announced for their arrest.
Illegal Property Frozen
Investigations revealed that main accused Yakub Khan had purchased a lodge in Husain Tekri area of Jaora, Madhya Pradesh, in his wife Bakhmina Bee’s name using drug trafficking proceeds. The property, valued at nearly ₹1 crore, was frozen by the government on August 28 under Section 68F(1) of the NDPS Act.

The coordinated operation involved AGTF’s Head Constable Mahavir Singh and Constable Narendra Patidar, along with DST in-charge SI Ravindra Patidar and team members SI Pannalal, ASI Pratap Singh, Constables Vinod, Narendra Singh, Pankaj, Ramesh Chand, Hemendra Singh, Sandeep, and Arvind Singh. SHO Pipalkhoont Naresh Patidar and his team also played a crucial role.
