Udaipur, April 5 (Udaipur Kiran): In a major anti-narcotics operation under “Operation Trinetra,” Rajasthan Police seized 455.230 kilograms of illegal doda chura along with a Scorpio vehicle in the Fatehnagar area of Udaipur district.

The action was carried out under the direction of Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan, with supervision from Additional SP Anjana Sukhwal and Assistant SP Aseema Vasvani. The operation was led by SHO Chandrashekhar Kilania.
Police teams from Fatehnagar and Mavli set up a checkpoint near Phalichada bus stand on April 4. During checking, a black Scorpio (RJ 27 UC 5623) was signaled to stop, but the driver broke through the barricade and attempted to flee.
After a brief chase, the police managed to stop the vehicle by bursting its tires. The driver abandoned the SUV on a dirt track and escaped.
A search of the vehicle led to the recovery of 23 sacks containing 455.230 kg of doda chura. The contraband and vehicle have been seized, and a case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
Further investigation is being handled by Gopal Nath, SHO of Dabok police station.
