Alwar : In the scorching heat, wild animals roam in search of water. They rest comfortably wherever they find water. After resting, they return to their place. One such video has emerged from the Sariska forest. Here, Tiger ST-15 is seen sitting in a pond, taking relief from the heat and taking a dip. This video is from Tuesday. Tiger ST-15 was also seen frolicking in the water by Rajasthan Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma. He also folded his hands seeing the tiger.

Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma had reached Sariska on Tuesday. He had gone to visit the Pandupol Hanuman temple here. He stopped seeing the crowd while returning two and a half kilometers before the temple. A leopard had hunted a Sambar on the roadside. Another Sambar was standing nearby. After the hunt, Tiger ST-15 went to Kundli Naya Anikat. The tiger soon got into the water. The tiger bathed in the water for about 10 to 15 minutes. Sometimes he would drink water and sometimes he would turn over from one side to the other in the water. Seeing this, the Forest Minister expressed happiness and folded his hands in front of the tiger.

Significance of the Video

The video highlights the importance of water conservation for wildlife. Tigers and other animals rely on water bodies to survive, especially during the hot summer months. The presence of Tiger ST-15 in the pond indicates that the Sariska Tiger Reserve has adequate water resources to support its wildlife population.

Forest Minister’s Appreciation

Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma’s appreciation of the tiger’s behavior shows the government’s commitment to protecting wildlife and their habitats. Such gestures encourage public support for conservation efforts.
