On Thursday, after their parents left for work, the boys went to nearby Jogi Talab to take a dip in the water. They were having fun however, in a playful mood, they happen to plunge into deep water and couldnt get back to the shore. Hearing their cries for help, residents rushed to help and someone informed the police. However, by the time they were searched and brought out, the three kids were dead. Gloom struck the locality as news spread of the tragedy and parents rushed to the hospital. Later noon,the bodies were given to the family after autopsies. Police said the families of the children hailed from different villages and were living here for some time. The kids went to the pond without informing their parents.
