President Ram Nath Kovind on a state visit to Cuba offered floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Havana.
President also visited the Biotechnology Centre and went to the historic Revolution Square in Havana.
The President was accorded Guard of honour at the Revolution Palace.
The President held a delegation level talks with the President of Cuba on a whole gamut of issues of bilateral importance.
Both India and Cuba signed several agreements and key MoUs on biotechnology, traditional systems of medicine and medicinal plants. Cuba reiterated support for India’s candidature for a permanent seat in UN Security Council.
