Udaipur : The Sursarita Musical Group organized a music event on Monday to celebrate Makar Sankranti. About 30 participants celebrated the festival by flying kites and enjoying traditional dishes made of sesame seeds and jaggery.
Dr. Anita Singhi, the founder of the group, said that on this occasion, the participants performed Ram songs on the occasion of the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The song “Ram Aayenge Ram Aayenge” filled the entire atmosphere with positive energy. All the members took a pledge to light five lamps and sing Ram bhajans at the time of the inauguration of the Ram temple on January 22.
It is noteworthy that this music group started four months ago. The group currently has 40 members who are passionate about singing and have not found a platform anywhere.
The group’s members sang a variety of Ram songs, including “Ram Aayenge Ram Aayenge,” “Hey Ram,” and “Sita Ram.” They also performed other traditional songs, such as “Makar Sankranti” and “Subah Ka Saman.”
The event was a great success and was well-received by the audience. It was a celebration of music, culture, and the spirit of Makar Sankranti.
