Mumbai, December 3 (Udaipur Kiran): Sun Pharmaceutical Industries was trading at Rs 1,808.70 on the BSE, up by 10.65 points or 0.59 per cent from its previous closing of Rs 1,798.05.

The stock opened at Rs 1,802.95 and touched a high of Rs 1,815.95 and a low of Rs 1,784.00 during the session. So far, 42,515 shares have been traded on the counter.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs 1, has hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,910.00 on December 31, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs 1,547.25 on September 26, 2025. The stock’s one-week high and low stood at Rs 1,843.95 and Rs 1,784.00 respectively. The company’s current market capitalisation is Rs 4,33,295.90 crore.
Promoters hold 54.48 per cent stake in the company, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 36.78 per cent and 8.73 per cent respectively.
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Sun Pharma Laboratories, has received approval from its Board of Directors for an investment of Rs 3,000 crore to set up a greenfield formulations manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.
Earlier, the company had launched its global innovative drug ILUMYA (Tildrakizumab) in India for the treatment of moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis.
