Ajmer / Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran). Miscreants pelted stones at train number 09722, the Udaipur–Jaipur Special, on Sunday night between Hatundi and Adarsh Nagar. One window of the general coach was damaged in the incident. Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel reached the spot immediately and launched a search for those involved. CCTV footage is also being examined.

Senior DCM Mihir Dev said the incident occurred in the third general coach attached to the engine. After receiving information about the stone-pelting, RPF and railway officials checked the train upon its arrival in Ajmer.
The window glass of the general coach was shattered, but no passenger was injured. RPF has begun an investigation into the matter.
RPF Stayed on Site for Four Hours
Following the alert, several RPF officers and personnel reached the location and remained there until around 11 pm. The entire track and route were thoroughly inspected. However, no suspicious person or object was found during the search.
