New Delhi, March 4 : Senior Advocate Aman Lekhi on Friday resigned from the post of Additional Solicitor General (ASG) of India. In his letter addressed to on Minister for Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju, Lekhi tendered his resignation with immediate effect. He, however, did not specify any reason for his decision. Lekhi was appointed as the ASG in 2018, and was re-appointed in 2020. He was appointed at that time for a period of three years till June 30, 2023. SM RJ
