Kolkata, May 14: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), Eastern Region, has issued an official notification inviting eligible candidates for a walk-in interview for the recruitment of four Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) positions on a contractual basis. The initial appointment will be for a duration of two years, extendable by one year based on need and satisfactory performance.
Candidates attending the walk-in interview must possess a CA/CMA degree and have a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience. This should include one year of experience in ERP/SAP, Oracle, and one year in accounting and taxation, excluding audit.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 40 years, calculated as of April 27. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection will be based on the walk-in interview, medical fitness, document verification, and other stages. Selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹70,000 per month, along with additional benefits and allowances.
The walk-in interview is scheduled for May 21, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at the ‘IRCTC Regional Office, 3, Koilaghat Street, Ground Floor, Kolkata-700 001’. Candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the filled application form, original documents, and photocopies.
