Udaipur – A seminar was organised for the students of the Mining Faculty at Pacific Polytechnic College, part of Pacific University. Director Dr. Mukesh Shrimali informed that the event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati. The chief guests, Mr. Asif Mohammad Ansari and Dr. Hitanshu Kaushal, were welcomed with mementoes and traditional shawls.

Addressing the students of mining diploma engineering, Mr. Asif Mohammad Ansari stated that they are stepping into a field that is challenging, dynamic, and an integral part of global development. He highlighted that Rajasthan has more than 30,000 active mines, each requiring skilled mining engineers—making it a promising career path. He added that mining is not just about resource extraction, but about empowering economies, building nations, and sustaining life.
Dr. Hitanshu Kaushal provided insights into various modern technologies used in mineral exploration and surveying, such as drone technology, LiDAR, and ERM. He also discussed the applications of artificial intelligence in mining. He emphasised that students will play a key role in steering the mining industry toward a brighter and more advanced future.
Mr. Sunil Sharma delivered the vote of thanks, while the programme was compered by Mr. Hemant Vaishnav.
