Snapdragon 8 Elite and Exynos 1580 Confirmed as Key Chipsets for Samsung’s Upcoming Devices
Two highly anticipated Samsung devices have surfaced on Geekbench, giving us a closer look at their performance and hardware specs ahead of their official debut. The Galaxy S25 Edge (SM-S937N) and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE (SM-X526B) have both been benchmarked, offering a glimpse at what’s under the hood for Samsung’s upcoming smartphone and tablet launches.

Galaxy S25 Edge: Snapdragon 8 Elite Confirmed with 12GB RAM
The South Korean variant of the Galaxy S25 Edge, listed as SM-S937N, has once again been spotted on Geekbench. This model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy — a high-performance, custom-tuned chipset — and is paired with 12GB of RAM.
This is the third Geekbench appearance for the S25 Edge, and its benchmark scores remain consistent, reflecting its flagship-tier processing power. While exact numbers weren’t disclosed this time, previous scores placed it among the top Android performers of 2025.
Galaxy Tab S10 FE: Exynos 1580 Powers Mid-Range Tablet
Also appearing in the database is the Galaxy Tab S10 FE (SM-X526B), the global version of Samsung’s fan-favorite tablet. It’s powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset, first seen in the Galaxy A56, and is paired with 8GB of RAM.
On Geekbench 5, the Tab S10 FE scored:
- 1,015 in single-core
- 3,540 in multi-core
While these scores are modest, it’s worth noting that the unit is likely a pre-production device, and not running finalized firmware. Performance is expected to improve closer to the commercial launch.
Launch Timeline: What to Expect
- Galaxy S25 Edge is rumored to launch next month as part of Samsung’s ongoing S25 series rollout.
- Galaxy Tab S10 FE is expected to arrive within the next two weeks, possibly via a soft launch or press release.
Both devices cater to different audiences — the S25 Edge for flagship phone enthusiasts, and the Tab S10 FE for mid-range tablet users — but together they show Samsung’s continued momentum across its mobile ecosystem.
