However, recent claims on social media suggest that it may also work with other Android smartphones via the Galaxy Wearable app.
Samsung Galaxy Ring Compatibility
According to a post by YouTuber M. Brandon Lee (@thisistechtoday) on According to a video shared by a user, the smart ring appears to be paired with the Nothing smartphone via the Galaxy Wearables app. You may also need to install some apps like Samsung Health.
The video purportedly shows the app’s user interface (UI), which displays smart ring features such as energy level, sleep, heart rate and health settings. There also appears to be an option to view smart ring details, reset and update the software via the app. Additionally, you will also see the Find Loop option, but it is not clear whether it works or not.
According to Samsung’s FAQ section on the Galaxy Ring purchase page, the wearable is compatible with Samsung smartphones running Android 11.0 or later. According to the official support page, devices must have at least 1.5GB of RAM to be compatible with the Galaxy Ring.
In another development, Avi Greengart (@greengart) suggested in an X post that the Galaxy Ring might also be compatible with iOS devices, although not at launch. It can therefore be assumed that iPhone models will also be supported in the future.
