
iQoo introduces new Z series smartphones in India. Sub-brand Vivo confirmed on Monday that the iQoo Z9s series will arrive in the country. iQoo only mentions the iQoo Z9s series, but we assume it includes at least two models. The announcement comes a few days after the launch of the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G, which comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. iQoo currently offers several models in its Z series: iQoo Z9 Turbo, iQoo Z9, iQoo Z9x and iQoo Z9x 5G.
The iQoo Z9s series is coming to India
iQoo India CEO Nippon Maria announced the arrival of the iQoo Z9s series in India via X Post. Mallya did not give an exact release date but confirmed that it will be announced in August. This post shows the back design of the phone. This is evident in the rectangular rear camera module, which has three cameras and a ring-shaped LED flash. All current iQoo Z9 smartphones are equipped with two rear cameras.
The back design of the iQoo Z9s is similar to the design language of the iQoo Z9 5G and iQoo Z9x 5G that were launched in India in the first half of this year. The upcoming range is expected to include at least the iQoo Z9s and iQoo Z9s Pro models.
Vanilla iQoo Z9 5G was launched at a starting price of Rs 20 lakh. 19,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage model. iQoo Z9x 5G is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration.
iQoo Z9 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G SoC and iQoo Z9x 5G is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Both phones have a 50-megapixel dual camera on the back and support 44W fast charging.
