The Samsung Galaxy Ring was announced in February at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. However, it is not yet available to the public. The South Korean tech giant plans to unveil its smart ring at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. According to reports, the smartwatch could cost the same as the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic before its official launch in France. The development comes days after a report that the Galaxy Ring may have health features such as skin temperature measurement and snoring detection.
Samsung Galaxy Ring Price (Estimated)
According to a report by Dealabs, the Samsung Galaxy Ring can be sold in France for 449 euros (around Rs 40,000). If true, that would put it on par with the similarly priced 47mm Bluetooth version of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in the region. However, it may be available at a lower price in India and the US.
According to experts, it could cost Rs. 35,000 in India. Meanwhile, the smart wearable can cost between $300 and $350 (approximately Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000) in the US.
This price could make Samsung’s smart ring more expensive than other smart rings in the market, such as the Oura Ring 3, which starts at $299 (roughly Rs. 25,000), and the Evie Ring, which has a potential price of $269 -Dollar. approx. 22,000 rupees). It will also be comparable to the Ultra Human Ring AIR at $349 (roughly Rs. 29,000), but only the latter model will be available in the Indian market.
Samsung Galaxy Ring Features (Expected)
The Samsung Galaxy Ring reportedly comes with multiple health monitoring features. The body temperature is measured via the skin. Users can also measure stress and heart rate. The smart ring is speculated to work with the Samsung Health app to enable features such as snoring detection.
This product will be available in 9 sizes from 5 to 12 and in three colors: black, gold and silver. In terms of design, the Galaxy Ring is shaped like a jewelry box with smooth edges. The case itself features a raised circular section in the middle with the charging pin and the ability to hold the smart ring while it’s plugged in. It is also likely to have LED indicators for battery and charging status.
