Reliance Industries inches up as its arm launches True 5G in Haridwar

Reliance Industries is currently trading at Rs. 2319.15, up by 7.65 points or 0.33% from its previous closing of Rs. 2311.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2312.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2327.00 and Rs. 2312.00 respectively. So far 35359 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2855.00 on 29-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2181.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2380.90 and Rs. 2293.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1563959.52 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.49%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.90% and 10.61% respectively.

Reliance Industries’ (RIL) telecom arm — Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio) has launched its True 5G services in Haridwar from Har Ki Pauri, taking the total number of Jio True 5G cities to 226 across the country. Har Ki Pauri means the feet of Lord Vishnu and is one of the most famous ghats on the banks of the river Ganges and a landmark of the holy city of Haridwar in the state of Uttarakhand.

Haridwar becomes the second city in the state after the Capital city Dehradun to get Jio True 5G services. Jio True 5G is rolling out at a rapid pace and is the only 5G service to be present in Haridwar empowering Jio users with transformational benefits of True 5G technology.
