Strict Security Measures at Examination Centers

The first day of REET-2024 saw stringent security checks at exam centers across the state. Candidates underwent thorough screening, with women being asked to remove jewelry, sacred threads, and even extra buttons from their clothing. In a notable incident in Ajmer, a female candidate’s nose pin (laung) was taped as it could not be removed.

Additionally, several candidates arriving late were seen pleading with security personnel to allow them entry into the examination halls. However, strict rules left no room for exceptions.

Advanced Technology to Prevent Cheating

This year, authorities have implemented rigorous anti-cheating measures to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. Key security features include:

QR Code on Admit Cards – Scanning provides instant access to a candidate’s complete details.
Facial Recognition Technology – First-time implementation to detect dummy candidates. If the live photo of the candidate does not match the admit card, entry is denied.
Fingerprint Scanning – Used to verify identity and prevent impersonation.

Biometric Checks and Document Verification at Centers

To maintain strict surveillance and integrity, specially-abled and sick candidates were also subjected to security screenings. In Udaipur, examinees were allowed entry only after thorough document verification, face scanning, and biometric identification.
