Rajasthan Government Implements Stringent Security Measures for Transparent and Fair Examination Process

Jaipur, February 19, 2025 – In a bid to ensure transparency, fairness, and foolproof execution of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2024, the Rajasthan Government has introduced biometric verification and face recognition technology to verify candidates and prevent fraudulent activities.

Under the directives of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the government is determined to conduct the examination in an impartial and structured manner. To ensure seamless execution, Chief Secretary Sudhanshu Pant chaired a high-level meeting with top officials from various government departments at the Secretariat on Wednesday. Strict Security Protocols to Be Implemented

The Rajasthan government is adopting measures akin to the Election Commission’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the integrity of the REET examination.

Biometric and Face Recognition Verification – Candidates will be verified using hand-held metal detectors, biometric scans, and advanced facial recognition technology to prevent impersonation.

Enhanced Security at Exam CentersAdequate police forces and home guard personnel will be deployed at examination centers, strong rooms, and collection centers to maintain law and order.

Round-the-Clock Surveillance – Suspicious individuals will be closely monitored, and strict vigilance will be maintained to prevent any malpractice or unauthorized activities during the exam.

Tight Control on Question Paper Transport – The strong room-to-exam center transportation of question papers will be carried out under police supervision, ensuring the utmost confidentiality and security.

Effective Crowd Management – To prevent overcrowding at railway stations, bus stands, and key locations, authorities have been directed to implement proper crowd management measures in advance.

Seamless Candidate Logistics and Facilities

Authorities have ensured that candidates face no difficulties in reaching exam centers by improving transportation and on-site facilities.

Special Railway and Roadway ArrangementsIndian Railways has been instructed to run additional trains and add extra coaches to accommodate the surge in candidates traveling for the exam.

Metro and Bus ServicesJaipur Metro and Rajasthan Roadways will provide enhanced services and increased frequency of buses to assist candidates in reaching their destinations.

Basic Amenities at Exam Centers – District Collectors have been directed to ensure the availability of drinking water, sanitation, electricity, and medical assistance at all exam centers.

Full Video Surveillance – The entire examination process will be recorded through videography, ensuring complete transparency and accountability.

Deployment of Government Officers and Staff1731 examination centers will be manned by government officials and employees, with special teams monitoring the exam process.

Monitoring of Candidates with Criminal Records

The government has taken proactive measures to prevent unfair means by monitoring suspected fraudsters and previously debarred candidates.

Identification of Fake and Debarred Candidates – A comprehensive list of dummy and debarred candidates will be provided to District Collectors, Superintendents of Police, and Special Operations Group (SOG) to ensure pre-exam surveillance.

Government’s Zero-Tolerance Policy – The Chief Secretary clearly emphasized that any violations of SOPs or security lapses will not be tolerated, and strict legal action will be taken against defaulters.

Database of Debarred Candidates – The list of individuals previously disqualified from government exams will be handed over to the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board for reference.
