Udaipur Student to Compete at Asia Pacific Lacrosse Championship 2026
Udaipur: It is a proud moment for Rajasthan as Yashoda Gameti, a student of Pacific College of Humanities, Udaipur, has been selected for the Indian Lacrosse team and will represent the country at the upcoming Asia Pacific Lacrosse Championship 2026 in Australia.
Pacific College of Humanities Faculty Chairman Prof. T.P. Ameta shared the information about Yashoda’s selection.
The prestigious championship will be held from October 4 to 11, 2026, at Sunshine Coast, Australia.

National Team Camp in Agra
According to a letter issued by the Rajasthan Lacrosse Association (Ref. No. RLA-692-2026), a preparation camp for the Indian team will be held at Sharda University, Agra, from September 24 to October 3, 2026, ahead of the championship.
Association Assistant Secretary Mahendra Singh has written to the Principal of Pacific College requesting that Yashoda be granted leave from September 24 to October 11 so that she can participate in the national preparation camp and the international championship.
The tournament is also an important stage in the 2028 Olympic qualification process, according to the information provided.
Yashoda’s selection has brought a wave of happiness not only to her college but also across the region.
University President Prof. Hemant Kothari said that encouraging students and boosting their morale in this manner would help them achieve better results in the future.
