Jaipur, September 24 (Udaipur Kiran News): The monsoon, though in its retreating phase, continues to favour Rajasthan. On Wednesday, the Meteorological Department issued a rain alert for six districts of the state.

According to the forecast, Jhalawar, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara, and Salumber may receive rainfall. Jaipur Meteorological Centre Director Radheshyam Sharma said that parts of Udaipur and Kota divisions are likely to witness light to moderate rain with thunder in the next one or two days. Meanwhile, monsoon has already withdrawn from Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer divisions and most parts of western Rajasthan, where dry weather is expected for the next 5–6 days.
On Tuesday, weather remained clear across all districts. The day temperatures rose slightly, while evenings turned cooler with a hint of chill.
As per the Jaipur Meteorological Centre report, Ganganagar recorded the highest temperature at 39.4°C. Other maximum temperatures were: Churu 38.4°C, Bikaner 37.1°C, Jaisalmer 37.2°C, Barmer 36.6°C, Phalodi 36.8°C, Alwar 36.8°C, Jaipur 36.5°C, Ajmer 34.2°C, Bhilwara 35.2°C, Pilani 38.6°C, Sikar 35°C, Kota 35.9°C, Chittorgarh 35.8°C, Hanumangarh 37.2°C, Fatehpur 37°C, Karauli 36.5°C, and Dausa 35.7°C.
