Poco is preparing to launch a new tablet in India. The upcoming Poco Pad was released worldwide in May this year. The company announced the launch of the tablet with banner ads on its e-commerce website. The Indian version of the Pad will be similar to its global version and will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a 10,000mAh battery, four speakers with Dolby Audio support, and a 12.1-inch display, among other things. Introducing Poco Pad India
The Poco Pad is expected to launch in India soon. A banner for the tablet has surfaced on Flipkart, confirming its availability on the platform. While the tablet is not named on the poster, the marketing images show an image reminiscent of the Poco Pad.
Poco India President Himanshu Tandon and the company’s Head of Brand Marketing Varun Nair have confirmed the upcoming launch of the new Poco Buds, tablet and power bank in India. In a recent interview, Tandon suggested that the Pogo Pad could launch in India by August.
Poco Pad specifications
Poco Pad has been released worldwide. It has a 12.1-inch, 120 Hz, 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels) LCD screen, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM and LPDDR4x. 256 GB UFS 2.2 internal memory. The tablet runs HyperOS based on Android 14.
As for the cameras, the Poco Pad comes with 8-megapixel cameras on the front and back. It has four speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type-C port.
