
Oppo has introduced the Reno 12F 5G as the brother of Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro. The new Reno 12 series phones come in two colors and are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It has several artificial intelligence features such as AI Recording Summary, AI Summary for Text, AI Writer, and AI Speak. A 5000mAh battery, 45W charging support, and IP64 standard structure are other standout features of the Oppo Reno 12F 5G.
The Chinese technology brand has not revealed the pricing and availability details of the Oppo Reno 12F 5G. Currently, it is listed on Oppo’s global website with Amber Orange and Olive Green color options.
To recall, the Oppo Reno 12 is priced at €499.99 (approximately Rs. 44,700) and the Oppo Reno 12 Pro is priced at €599.99 (approximately Rs. 53,700) for the 12GB + 256GB option.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 12F features the ColorOS 14.0 operating system and a 6.67-inch Full HD OLED screen (1080 x 2400 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a screen-to -Body ratio of 92.2% and one pixel density is 394 pixels per inch. Density and maximum brightness of 1200 nits. The screen has AGC DT-Star 2 glass protection. This octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset comes with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS2.2 storage. Also available is the Oppo AI Suite, which includes AI Recording Summary, AI Text Summary, AI Writer, and AI Speak.
The front camera of the Oppo Reno 12F 5G has a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization) and there is a triple rear camera setup consisting of an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the front. Similar to Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro, this model also comes with AI-powered camera features such as AI Best Face, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio and AI Clear Face. The construction of this phone complies with the IP64 standard.
Connectivity options on the Oppo Reno 12F 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/, Bluetooth 5.3, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The sensors in the aircraft include accelerometer, color temperature sensor, gravity sensor, geomagnetic sensor, IR control, proximity sensor and light sensor. For authentication, the device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and also supports facial recognition.
The Oppo Reno 12F 5G has a 5000mAh battery with 45W charging support. The quick charging adapter should be able to charge the battery from zero to 100 percent in 71 minutes. A 10-minute charge is said to provide up to 6.2 hours of talk time and up to 5.05 hours of video playback.
