Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra to Feature Enhanced Privacy Display
Samsung's Galaxy S27 Pro and Ultra will introduce an upgraded Privacy Display, improving user privacy and visibility in bright conditions.

NEW DELHI, Nov 4: Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are expected to feature an enhanced Privacy Display, improving user experience by preventing others from viewing the screen. This development follows the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which also included the Privacy Display.
According to reports, these new models will offer upgraded privacy capabilities and increased display brightness, making them easier to read in sunlight. However, earlier rumors suggesting that the standard Galaxy S27 and S27+ would have similar features have since been dismissed.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumored to retain the S Pen slot and may include a redesigned camera bar, allowing for better compatibility with magnetic accessories, specifically MagSafe-style chargers. This could resolve issues experienced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, where the large camera bump hindered the connection with magnetic accessories.
The dimensions of the Galaxy S27 Ultra are expected to be slightly larger than its predecessor, measuring about 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97 mm compared to the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9 mm. Although the design remains largely similar, the placement of the cameras has changed, potentially allowing for more stable table placement.
It has been suggested that Samsung may drop the 3x telephoto camera from the Galaxy S27 Ultra, focusing instead on a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera.
Although the exact release date for the Galaxy S27 series has not been confirmed, Samsung typically unveils its new flagship phones in late February. The company last held their Unpacked event on February 25, 2023, just before the Mobile World Congress.
