New Delhi : Three C-17 transport aircraft landed back at Hindan on Saturday morning carrying 629 Indian citizens from neighbouring countries of Ukraine- Romania, Slovakia and Poland.
“These flights also carried 16.5 tonnes of relief load from India to these countries,” the IAF said. Till date the IAF has flown 10 sorties to bring back 2056 passengers, while taking 26 tonnes of relief load to these countries for war-torn Ukraine, as part of Operation Ganga, the IAF said. So far, over 11,500 Indian citizens have been evacuated from Ukraine under Operation Ganga.
