Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Home Minister and government spokesman Narottam Mishra said on Tuesday that, despite the novel coronavirus pandemic’s third wave being perceptibly on the wane, alertness level is not being lowered and analysis of samples has not slackened in the state.
“Even now, in excess of 60,000 specimens are being collected on daily basis. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reviews the situation every day. During the past 24 hours, only one policeman tested positive and 1.27 lakh vaccine doses were administered. A total 80 members of the force are among 6,172 active cases. The positivity rate has declined to 0.86 per cent and the recovery percentage is 97.40,” he told the press here.
