Udaipur – The new academic session at Pacific Hotel Management College, a constituent of Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University, was inaugurated with a ceremonial welcome. The freshers were greeted with traditional tilak and gur as part of the warm reception.
The programme began with the Director of the institute, Vinod Kumar Singh Bhadoria, offering a garland to the idol of Goddess Saraswati and lighting the ceremonial lamp. Senior students welcomed the newcomers with a musical performance.
Addressing the students, Director Vinod Bhadoria elaborated on the significance of the hotel management industry, highlighting the importance of time management, discipline, and various aspects of professional skills. He encouraged students to stay committed to their goals while remaining aware of the opportunities and challenges within the field.
President of Pacific University, Prof. Hemant Kothari, also extended his congratulations and best wishes to the students. He spoke about the global potential of the hotel management industry, noting its rapid growth and vast career opportunities.
Faculty member Dr. Mehndi Sharma provided an overview of the different departments of the college and familiarised students with the available resources and facilities. She stated that this session offers students a golden opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills.
