Motorola Razr+ 2024 is the Chinese tech brand’s next foldable offering. Even before the official announcement, the clamshell-like foldable phone was spotted on a wireless certification website in China, hinting at an imminent release. The model number listed is XT2453-2 for the Motorola Razr+. It is expected to be the successor to the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra that was officially launched in India last year. It was previously speculated that the Motorola Razr+ 2024 will be called the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra.
GizmoChina reports that a new Motorola smartphone with model number XT2453-2 has received wireless certification in China. This model number is for the Motorola Razr+ 2024, thanks to a listing on the ECE website that appeared online earlier. The listing says that the phone supports 5G connectivity. In addition, no other information about the phone was revealed on the certificate page.
Recently, renders of the Motorola Razr+ 2024 appeared online, giving an idea of the phone’s design. It has a metallic gray frame, dual rear cameras and a punch-hole display. It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Earlier it was speculated that it will be launched as Motorola Razr 50 Ultra.
The Motorola Razr+ 2024 can be considered the successor to last year’s Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. The latter was priced at Rs 89,999 in July for the same 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It has a 6.9-inch indoor POLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, and a 3.6-inch outdoor POLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
The Razr 40 Ultra has dual rear cameras. It comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It has a 3800mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging support and 5W wireless charging support.
