Maruti Ertiga Tops 7-Seater Sales in April

New Delhi, May 9 (Udaipur Kiran) — Maruti Suzuki has emerged as the top performer in India’s 7-seater segment with the strong sales of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga during April 2026.

According to the report, the company sold 19,063 units of the Ertiga in April 2026. The MPV recorded a year-on-year growth of 20.8 percent and captured a 22.6 percent share in the segment.

In the top 10 list, Mahindra Scorpio-N and Mahindra Scorpio Classic together secured the second position with combined sales of 14,719 units. However, the series registered a 5.2 percent decline compared to last year.

Toyota Innova Hycross and Toyota Innova Crysta achieved combined sales of 9,630 units and secured the third position. Innova Crysta recorded a 25.1 percent year-on-year growth.

Mahindra Bolero ranked fourth with sales of 8,917 units, showing a 6.4 percent increase over last year.

Mahindra XUV700 and XUV 7XO together registered sales of 8,630 units, taking the fifth spot. Their combined sales increased by 26.7 percent compared to the previous year.

Kia Carens and Clavis together sold 5,465 units and secured the sixth position with a growth of 3.9 percent.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 stood seventh with sales of 3,527 units, although its sales declined by 14.8 percent year-on-year.

Mahindra XEV 9S ranked eighth with sales of 3,242 units after receiving a strong response since launch.

Toyota Rumion, the rebadged version of the Ertiga, recorded sales of 2,585 units and secured the ninth position.

Toyota Fortuner ranked tenth with sales of 2,253 units. Its sales declined by 22.4 percent compared to last year.
