
Pratapgarh : A major case of fraud has come to light at ICICI Bank in Dhariyawad. Taking major action in this case, the Pratapgarh Police has frozen 62 bank accounts and put a hold on an amount of Rs 62,71,490. In addition, Rs 46 lakh in cash has been recovered. The police have also arrested two accused in this case.
According to the information, the branch manager of ICICI Bank, Dhariyawad, informed the police about the fraud. The police started the investigation and found that two bank employees were colluding to embezzle money from the bank accounts. The police have arrested both the accused and are interrogating them.
The police said that the accused were withdrawing money from the bank accounts and depositing it in their personal accounts. They had embezzled Rs 62,71,490 from the bank accounts. The police have frozen 62 bank accounts of the accused and recovered Rs 46 lakh in cash.
