Man Booked for Sexual Exploitation on Promise of Marriage in Udaipur

Udaipur, April 20 (Udaipur Kiran): A case of alleged sexual exploitation under the pretext of marriage has been registered in the Surajpol Police Station area, police said.

According to officials, the survivor stated in her complaint that the accused, Pushpak Malviya, a resident of Banswara, gained her trust by promising marriage. On the night of August 7, 2025, he allegedly took her to a hotel in the Udiapol area.

The survivor alleged that the accused pressured her to consume alcohol in the hotel room. After consuming alcohol himself, he allegedly took advantage of her condition and established physical relations. She further stated that the accused repeatedly assured her of marriage.

When the survivor later realised the alleged deception, she approached the police and filed a complaint. Based on her report, a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
