Udaipur, April 20 (Udaipur Kiran): A case of blackmail and extortion has been registered in the Surajpol Police Station area after a woman alleged that she was drugged and later threatened with an obscene video.

According to the complaint, the accused, Dharmendra Gurjar, a resident of Roadkala in Karauli district, allegedly called the woman to the Tekri area on March 31. There, he is accused of mixing an intoxicating substance in a drink and offering it to her. The woman stated that she lost consciousness after consuming it.
When she regained consciousness, the accused allegedly threatened her, claiming that he had recorded objectionable photos and videos on his mobile phone. He then began blackmailing her, warning that the content would be made public.
Fearing social stigma, the woman transferred ₹2 lakh online to the accused. However, despite receiving the money, he allegedly continued to threaten her.
