Bhopal, March 29 – Amid the rising heat of late March, a significant shift in weather conditions has been observed across Madhya Pradesh due to a western disturbance. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has reported a drop in temperatures across the state and issued a rainfall alert for April 1 in several divisions including Bhopal, Indore, Narmadapuram, and Jabalpur.

Temperature Drop Across Major Cities
The impact of strong winds driven by the western disturbance has led to a noticeable dip in temperatures, particularly in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and Gwalior. IMD forecasts suggest that this cooling trend may persist over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), with temperatures expected to drop by 2–3°C.
On Friday, several cities experienced a significant dip:

Guna: Fell by 4.4°C to 35.8°C
