Islamabad, May 21 (Udaipur Kiran) — Hamza Burhan, accused of being one of the masterminds behind the Pulwama terror attack, was shot dead in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), according to reports.

Unidentified attackers allegedly opened fire on Hamza Burhan in PoK, hitting him with multiple bullets. He reportedly died on the spot following the attack.
Reports said Hamza Burhan had been active in Pakistan and PoK for a long time and was considered among the conspirators of the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, in which 40 Indian security personnel were killed.
The Government of India had declared Hamza Burhan a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in 2022.
