Lucknow: Five Killed, Four Injured in House Fire After Cylinder Explodes

Lucknow : A short circuit in a house in Kakori police station area of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, led to a fire on Tuesday night. The fire took a severe form and two gas cylinders kept in the house exploded with a loud bang. In this explosion, the roof of the house collapsed and the husband, wife, and three children were killed. Four others were seriously injured.

On receiving the information, the police and three fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and controlled the fire. They rescued the burnt people and admitted them to the trauma center.

Mushar, a resident of Hata Hazrat Sahib town under Kakori police station area, had two cylinders blast in his house due to a short circuit last night. Nine members of the family were injured in this blast.

On the information of the fire with the blast, the police station and fire brigade team reached the spot. The team rescued and controlled the fire and took the seriously burnt people to the trauma center for treatment, where five people died during treatment. Four people are injured and are undergoing treatment.

According to the information, Mushar Ali used to work as a zari worker as well as a firecracker dealer. The police is investigating all aspects of the incident.

In this accident, Mushar’s son Puttu (50), his wife Husn Bano (45), Raiya daughter Bablu (07), Ajmad’s daughter Uma and Hina (02) died. Among the burnt people, Isha daughter Mushar (17), Lakab daughter Mushar (21), Mushar’s brother-in-law Ajmad (34) and Anam (18) daughter Bablu (Mushar’s brother) are undergoing treatment at the trauma center.
