I have been a sports lover right from very beginning of class- VI. When the trial for school handball team was in progress.  I regularly  participated in the same. Our School Handball Coach Virendra Singh Rawat had continuously guided me and motivated me. He believed that my speed and Stamina were worth appreciation and Thus I should practise continuously for the future endeavours.

I have been selected for under – 14 Handball Team and I played for my first Inter-School Competition and made everyone proud because pf my performance. The team won. When I was in Class VIII then again got selected for the school Handball Team and the result was a grand victory. Following which was selected for State Level from Udaipur District. During the State Level Competitions I visited many districts to play the matches. Considering the performance at the state level, I was selected for the National level Handball Competition, Delhi, representing in the  Rajasthan Camp.

In the Camp around 30 players from different districts came and they practised for 15 days in that camp Noticing the dedication and my passion for sports I was selected for the Rajasthan Handball Team.

I played in the National Level Competition in Delhi. And Rajasthan Team stood Third in the Tournament . By the grace of God and blessings from my parents, Principal, coach and cooperation of my friends, I had tremendous achievements. I did not stop my  practice and was a winner at district level and played many times at state level tournaments.

For the Past six continuous years I toiled hard and was duly paid for the same. I was called for the Selection Trials of the Indian HandBall Team. I gave my best performance. And then two days later I was selected for the Indian Team, which will now participate in the International Camp in England. No words to express how elated I am and would thank everyone who had belief in me.

My parents have been my biggest supporters. They not only helped me with my studies but at the same time encouraged me to participate in sports. They provided me with all sorts of help they could and to be by my side. I express my gratitude for them.

Our school Principal Sir William D’souza has encouraged Handball sports in school. He made sure that all sorts of facilities, from handball ground to a coach, every bit of it was provided to the sports aspirants. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for all his support.

Last but not the least I would thank all my fellow handball players with whom from class 6th to 12th I have practiced and grew as a person and as a player to be recognised I would thank Manjinder Singh Dillon, Pranjal Kumawat, Harshit Singh Bisht, Krishna Pratap Singh and for the enlightens in my life by my Coach Sir Virendra Singh Rawat.
