May 19, 2025 | New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has officially released the JEE Advanced 2025 question papers for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on its official website — jeeadv.ac.in. The exam, held today in two shifts, witnessed lakhs of candidates across India aiming for a prestigious seat at one of the IITs.
Exam Conducted in Two Shifts
The highly competitive JEE Advanced 2025 was conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format. Paper 1 was held in the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, while Paper 2 took place in the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Both exams adhered to strict invigilation protocols across designated centres nationwide.
The release of the question papers allows students to review the questions and evaluate their performance before the answer keys are made public. It also helps coaching institutes across the country to begin their in-depth analysis and answer key preparation.

May 22, 2025: IIT Kanpur will publish the recorded responses of all candidates.

June 2, 2025: The final answer key and JEE Advanced 2025 results will be declared. Candidates will also receive their All India Ranks (AIR) on the same day.
JoSAA Counselling to Follow
The declaration of the result will be followed by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling process, which will enable eligible students to apply for seats at the IITs, IISc Bangalore, and other participating institutions. The entire process will be conducted online, including registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and acceptance of seats.
