Jaipur, October 23 (Udaipur Kiran) — Shares of Insolation Energy Ltd gained over 1% on Thursday after the company announced that its wholly owned arm, Insolation Green Energy, has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary — PRGE Green Infra — to spearhead solar power development projects.

The stock was trading at ₹167.50, up by ₹1.75 or 1.06%, from its previous close of ₹165.75 on the BSE. It opened at ₹168.80, hitting an intraday high of ₹169.90 and a low of ₹166.10, with 1.87 lakh shares traded so far.
The BSE Group ‘M’ stock, with a face value of ₹1, currently holds a market capitalisation of ₹3,690.75 crore. The scrip recorded a 52-week high of ₹475.00 (November 8, 2024) and a 52-week low of ₹157.50 (October 20, 2025). Over the last week, it traded between ₹171.70 and ₹157.50.
Promoters own 66.02% of the company’s shares, while institutions hold 1.36% and non-institutional investors 32.62%.
New Subsidiary to Drive Solar Power Development
According to the company, PRGE Green Infra was incorporated on October 22, 2025, as a special purpose vehicle (SPV) for setting up solar power plants. The new entity will focus on solar power plant development, erection, installation, construction, operation, and maintenance, along with providing consultancy services for renewable energy projects.
PRGE Green Infra’s activities will also include design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of rooftop solar photovoltaic (RTS) projects, in addition to comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services.
Expanding Solar Footprint
The incorporation of PRGE Green Infra reinforces Insolation Energy’s strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio and enhance its EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) capabilities in the solar segment. The move is expected to strengthen the company’s position as a leading national solar energy provider.
Insolation Energy’s current product range includes Poly and Mono crystalline solar modules and innovative offerings like Twin Power, Dual Glass (Glass-to-Glass), BIPV, Poly, Mono & Mono PERC modules, catering to both residential and commercial sectors.
