Jaipur, March 22, 2025 – In a deeply moving and patriotic gesture, the Sapta Shakti Command of the Indian Army will organize a solemn and honourable event on March 26, 2025, in Churu, Rajasthan, to pay tribute to the valour and sacrifice of Veterans and Veer Naris (war widows). The occasion will also witness the inauguration of the much-anticipated Veergati Smarak, a memorial dedicated to the brave hearts of Churu district who laid down their lives in service of the nation.

A Tribute to Immortal Heroes
The Veergati Smarak, a monumental tribute, stands as a symbol of gratitude and reverence for the countless soldiers from the district who have fought and fallen for the country. Built in memory of the late Shri Bhanwarlal ji and Smt. Sampat Devi Hirawat, the memorial is made possible by the unwavering support and dedication of their sons, Shri Basant ji Hirawat and Shri Abhay ji Hirawat, along with the extended Hirawat family.
