Jaipur, May 20 (Udaipur Kiran) — The Rajasthan government on Tuesday night carried out a major administrative reshuffle in the police department by transferring 17 IPS officers across the state.
As part of the reshuffle, Superintendents of Police (SPs) in seven key districts have also been changed.
The latest transfers come nearly a week after the state government transferred 187 RAS officers in a large-scale bureaucratic exercise.
Among ADG-level officers, Lata Manoj Kumar has been transferred from Additional Director General of Police, Civil Rights, Anti Human Trafficking and Community Policing, Jaipur, to Additional Director General of Police, Community Policing and Public Grievances, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Hawa Singh Ghumaria, currently serving as Additional Director General of Police, Headquarters, Jaipur, has been assigned additional charge of Additional Director General of Police, Civil Rights and Anti Human Trafficking, Jaipur.
At the IG level, K B Vandana has been posted as Inspector General of Police, CID Crime Branch, Jaipur. Param Jyoti has been transferred to IG Police, RAC Jaipur, while Kalu Ram Rawat has been appointed IG Police, Telecommunication, Rajasthan.
Harendra Kumar Mahawar has been posted as IG Police, Kota Range.
Among DIG-level officers, Shweta Dhankhar has been transferred to DIG Police, RAC Jaipur, while Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav has been posted as DIG Police, SOG Jaipur.
At the SP level, Manish Tripathi has been shifted from Chittorgarh to ATS Jaipur. Dharmendra Singh has been appointed SP Chittorgarh, while Gyan Chandra Yadav has been posted as SP Didwana-Kuchaman.
Gordhan Lal Sonkaria has been appointed SP, ACB Jaipur. Rajesh Kumar Meena has been transferred as SP Bharatpur.
Richa Tomar has been posted as Commandant, 11th Battalion RAC, New Delhi. Piyush Dixit has been appointed SP Dausa, while Sagar has been transferred as SP Bhilwara.
Roshan Meena has been posted as SP Tonk.
At the ASP level, Ashima Vaswani has been transferred from ASP Mavli Circle, Udaipur, to ASP Bharatpur City.
