Hyderabad : With the launch of the precautionary dose programme at Government Unani Hospital near the historic Charminar by Health Minister T Harish Rao on Monday, the administration of Booster dose of COVID vaccine to senior citizens with comorbidities ,health and front line workers got underway.
The booster dose will be given on the completion of nine months after the second dose of COVID vaccine, and the jabs will be administered at Rural and urban Primary Health Centres (PHC).
The dose will be given as per the willingness of the beneficiaries after due consultation with their doctors.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Harish Rao wanted all eligible people to ensure that they take the booster dose as soon as possible.
Several Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimees leaders were present on the occasion and MIM legislators Mumtaz Ahmed Khan and Ahmed Pasha Quadri were among those who took the jab.
