Jodhpur, 2 September (Kiran News) – The Rajiv Gandhi Nagar police have uncovered an illegal hookah bar and liquor den being operated under the cover of a café on Gangana Road in the city. Acting on a tip-off, police raided the Sky Green Café, where they seized hookah materials and illegal liquor, and detained 16 people for questioning. Those detained, including several students, were later released on bail.

Police received information that the Sky Green Café was conducting illegal hookah bar operations. A team led by Sub-Inspector Premnath, ASI Raghunathram, and Head Constable Babulal conducted the raid and apprehended 16 individuals on the spot.
A case has been registered against Rajaram, son of Hukmaram Meghwal, resident of Gida Khoksar, Balotra district, who was operating the Sky Green Café. Police seized 15 hookahs, 15 chillums, 47 filter pipes, 12 open boxes of various hookah flavours, and other related materials from the site.
In addition, 30 bottles of beer and five bottles of illegal liquor were seized, for which a separate case has been filed under the Excise Act against Abhishek, son of Jagdish, a resident of Jagdamba Colony Temple area.
All 16 individuals detained during the raid were produced before the court and later released on bail. Police have registered two separate cases in connection with the incident.
