Udaipur : A history-sheeter was shot at by four rounds by assailants in front of BN College in Udaipur on Friday evening. He has been admitted to the MB Hospital.
According to eyewitnesses, the history-sheeter, Bhupendra Rawal, was coming out of a gym located in front of BN College and was going towards his scooter when the assailants opened fire at him and fled the spot. The injured Bhupendra was rushed to the MB Hospital.
On receiving the information, SHO Bharat Yogi of Bhopalpura police station reached the spot along with his team and inspected the scene of the crime. The police have recovered four empty cartridges from the spot. Later, SP Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav, Additional SP City Lokendra Dadarwal, and DSP Shikha Rajawat also visited the scene of the crime and the hospital to take stock of the situation.
According to the police, the assailants included his cousin Vijay Rawal and Ravi Mittal.
