The 10 days- long grand MKM football Tournament will witness participation of 12 teams from across the country
The tournament complements Hindustan Zinc’s broader initiative, #ZincCity, aimed at celebrating Udaipur’s cultural essence
Udaipur : Hindustan Zinc, a subsidiary of the Vedanta Group, proudly presents the 44th edition of the All India Mohan KumarMangalam Hind Zinc Football Tournament, taking place from January 20th to 29th, 2024. The football tournament commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony on January 20, 2024, at the MKM Stadium in Zawar. The event was graced by the well- renowned Chief Guest, Mr. Climax Lawrence, Former Indian Football Team Player, and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Munish Vasudeva, CHRO, Hindustan Zinc & Mr. U.M. Shankerdas, President HZWF who inaugurated the ceremony. Hindustan Zinc, in collaboration with Zawar Mines Mazdoor Sangh, is hosting this 10-day extravaganza, expected to draw a vibrant audience of over 20,000 people.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Climax Lawrence, commented, “Witnessing the MKM Football Tournament from the stands shows the spirit of people of Zawar. The participating teams including Shimla Young Club Delhi, Round Glass FC Punjab, Central Bank of India Mumbai, Artillery Centre Hyderabad, Doon Star FC Dehradun, BSF Siliguri, Aryax Superban FC Kolkata, Rajasthan Police, DFA Udaipur, Hindustan Zinc XI, Zinc Football Academy and N.F.A Neemuch will compete for the coveted trophy in the legendary football tournament.
