The Vivo G2 is priced at RMB 1,199 (approximately Rs. 14,000) for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can also buy the smartphone in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB versions. The price is CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,500) and CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,700) respectively.
The most expensive configuration costs 1,899 yuan (approximately Rs. 22,200). This version has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In China you can buy the Vivo G2 in one color: Space Black. There is no news from Vivo about its plans to launch the phone in other markets including India.
Vivo G2 Specifications and Features
The recently launched Vivo G2 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone running on Android 13-based OriginOS 3. The phone features a 6.56-inch HD+ (720 x 1612 pixels) IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen-to-body ratio is 89.67%. The phone is powered by a 7nm Dimensity 6020 chip paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
For taking photos and videos, the Vivo G2 is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture. The phone also features a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.8 aperture that can be used for video calls and selfies.
The Vivo G2 offers up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. Internal sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, electronic compass and flicker sensor.
This phone has a 5000mAh battery with 15W charging support. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side for biometric authentication. According to the company, the Vivo G2 measures 165.74 x 75.43 x 8.09 mm and weighs 186 grams.
