Udaipur, January 29: A divisional-level orientation program on Rajeevika’s initiatives and innovations was organized at the Municipal Corporation Auditorium on Thursday. The event was graced by Additional Director of Agriculture (Extension) Khand Niranjan Singh Rathore as the chief guest. The session was attended by Rajeevika District Project Director Khayali Lal Khatik, Ashok Sen, Suryaveer Singh, and other dignitaries.
During the program, Khatik provided an in-depth overview of Rajeevika’s initiatives, emphasizing its role in women’s economic empowerment. Chief Guest Rathore highlighted the vital role of women in shaping families, society, and the nation, stating that women can achieve financial independence by engaging in various activities such as horticulture, medicinal plant cultivation, polyhouse and green shed farming, and amla cultivation.
Key Focus Areas of the Workshop
The workshop covered several crucial topics, including:
- Installation and promotion of the Rajsakhi app
- Market linkages for Rajeevika products
- Exhibitions and awareness about self-help group (SHG) products
- Expanding outreach to consumers
Dignitaries emphasized that women’s economic, social, educational, and political empowerment holds immense potential and that Rajeevika’s initiatives serve as a milestone in this journey.

The event saw active participation from 850-900 women, including:
- Area Coordinators
- RPRPs (Resource Persons for Rural Prosperity)
- Cluster Level Federation Managers
- Self-help group (SHG) leaders
Delegates from Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, and Rajsamand attended the workshop.
