Udaipur: An induction and orientation programme was organised for newly admitted students at Venkateshwar College of Nursing, Sai Tirupati University, Udaipur.

Sai Tirupati University Vice Chancellor Dr Prashant Nahar, Registrar Dr Devendra Jain and Deputy Registrar Dr Kanupriya Tiwari attended the programme as guests.

Students Introduced to Academic System

College of Nursing Principal Dr Vijay Singh Rawat welcomed the newly admitted students and provided detailed information about the college’s academic system, curriculum, discipline and rules and regulations.

He encouraged the students to maintain regularity in their studies, follow discipline and focus on quality education.

Vice Principal Dr Chandra Prakash Dekawat said that students’ goals should not remain limited to academics. The knowledge and skills they acquire can play an important role in contributing to society and nation-building.

He encouraged the students to develop into responsible and compassionate nursing professionals.

Focus on Discipline and Professional Ethics

During the programme, students were briefed about the various departments of the college, academic activities, rules and regulations, and the educational facilities available on campus.

They were also advised to give priority to discipline, time management and professional ethics throughout their academic journey.

Heads of various departments, professors, associate professors, assistant professors and other faculty members of the College of Nursing were present on the occasion.

The programme aimed to familiarise newly admitted students with the college’s academic and professional environment and provide them with a positive direction for their future.
